I was in the midst of a lunch with my mom and sister-in-law when I got the call. I had 3rd row seat tickets waiting for me in a few days time to see Miranda Lambert in LA. I actually squealed aloud at lunch. No matter how many times you blog, meet celebrities, go to events -- tickets that close of a favorite artist will ALWAYS rile me up!

If you have never been to the Greek Theatre in Hollywood, I strongly recommend looking at the current schedule and buying tickets to your favorite performing artists now. The venue itself, provides the most captivating architecture that provides you with the most comfortable viewing experience. Every seat is a great view with quality clean and crisp sound to accompany your concert experience.

Miranda Lambert graced LA with the ultimate girl power we all love to expect from the country bombshell. She brought alongside the Brothers Osborne and Kip Moore to open the night and create the stir of magic to begin the night under the stars. The night started with a couple of tall can Coronas and limes popped into the tops to calm my anticipation. Taking our seats in the third row, I watched the cowboy in the isle whisper something to a girl holding her beer with her hands pulling her hair behind her ear. The flirtation at country music events are unlike any other concert genre. The tough and wild make themselves kind and gentle to win the attention and affection of the beauties. Sliding into my seat, I sat thanking the Lord for a great opportunity and anxiously await the big night.

Kip Moore Intimately Playing on Stage

Kip Moore Intimately Playing on Stage

Brothers Osborne is the musical group that I have bought tickets and traveled two hours to see a little over a year ago for the first time. Every time i've seen the duo take the stage, my heart races a little. Their confidence and stage presence are both so humble. Being in the audience allows you to witness an intimate exchange with the artists and their talent that radio play can never give you. They are one of the few artists in the industry that make me feel like they are not just performing for their crowd. Rather, they seem to be simply playing for the music itself and we, luckily, happen to be there. Their effortlessly sultry vocals, catchy guitar rifts, and complimentary energy exchange between the duo had us swooning and swaying with Stay A Little Longer and 21 Summer

Heading to the beer line, I got to see new friends and shared laughs and stories over beers. Just beside us was the charming David, from Go Country 105.1 being followed around by a small fan group of women asking questions and posing for pictures. We headed back into the theatre to take our seats as Kip Moore took the stage. If you follow Kip on Instagram then you know that he is the most laid back, come as you are, surfing country star. His easy to love personality was clear on stage and made for hilarious banter on stage. As seen in the picture above, he sat on a stool and started an intimate set piece for us all. However, with phone screens right in his face recording his every move, he took a moment to ask someone in the front to put their phone down, and just "be here." Easy, beautiful, and personal request right? The person would NOT listen and kept insisting on recording! He asked again and explained himself before they finally put the screen down. It was such a huge reminder to engage in our moments with those in front of us, not the one's at home or doing something else. Our incessant need to document our lives is sometimes quite hindering. Thank you Kip Moore for such a simple reminder! As he finished his set, the crowd became restless with anticipation. We all knew who was coming on that stage.

The screens flickered and a set of women flashed across the stage screens, showcasing strong and independent women who were bold and daring in their time. Queen Miranda was about to set our hearts and spirits ablaze with her ever-so-contagious empowerment. Walking on stage in all black and a seriously stunning sparkling belt, the Queen looked AMAZING. Her hair was tousled softly with her figure perfectly accented, but the best part of her appearance? Her smile! She was absolutely beaming once she saw the crowd. Starting out with powerhouse vocals, she sang consistently, belted out her number 1 hits repeatedly, and I found myself star struck.

Singing along and dancing under the warm Los Angeles air, I was completely beyond myself watching this powerhouse perform. Between songs, Miranda joked about her glitter tumblr that she took sips from throughout the night and talked to the crowd honestly and directly. She was laughing, having fun, running with confidence, and dancing up a storm. I was standing her entire set and singing on the top of my lungs. Miranda, I am so in love with all that you are haha. At the end of her set, she was introducing everyone on her crew and laughing with everyone in the crowd. She finished her set and brought up Brothers Osborne and Kip Moore to finish out the night with a silly and quickly set up collaboration. Best. Night. Ever.

Till Next Time xx Vee
