WHAT IS IS REALLY LIKE TO FOLLOW MY BLOG...
So you found yourself wandering through Instagram and found my account, scanned YouTube and watched my video, or read a post of my blog through a friend and liked what you saw... now what? So many times we find ourselves finding people on the internet and feel connected to them through mutual interests, love of life, or love their taste of curated material, but what does it actually do for our everyday life? I LOVE country music. I love the culture, the people, the fashion, the love of a good time, and the taste of a cold beer before I dance with the man who catches my eye (sshhhh more on that to come!)
I am just starting out, but I pride myself on being the first country blogger to bring the world of country straight to you with the foundational belief that if I were to run into you at a concert, stand next to you in the beer line, or find myself complementing your outfit, we would truly become friends. Who I am as a blogger is build on inclusiveness and my love of community. I want you to have the BEST time and I want to build you UP, NOT make you feel like I am any different, better, or other than you, but rather that I am here for YOU!
My blog is a collection of the best curated country apparel, products, concert giveaways, artist spotlights, artist performance reviews, and filmed experiences that will have you feel like next time I go to an event, your cute ass BETTER be there too!
So, what does this mean? Having just started this journey, my immediate following is rather small and intimate, but it allows me to notice who is engaging with my content. I noticed a girl's username handle popping up and followed her on Twitter. Her reaction was so funny and encouraging and made my whole day brighter. So I messaged her and asked her to coffee or to go hangout. Fast forward to making it happen, I wanted to plan the perfect day full of country music and fun for her.
The support that I felt from her, was enough to drive down to LA and find a day to make it work to hangout. I HAD to make the day special. I ended up getting us two tickets to THE BAND PERRY'S LIVE TAPING with DirectTV as a surprise!
We were the last in line and figured the experience was worth standing anywhere in the studio. A producer noticed us talking and laughing in the back and asked us to follow him where he then escorted us to the FRONT of the crowd and next to the stage. **insert my hyperventilating heart emoji now!** I could not believe it. We watched the performance two steps away from the band and participated in the best first hangout experience possible! I could not have planned the day any better than it turned out! The Lord always knows what is best for us and sometimes we have to just realize that anything he has for us is 10x better than we could EVER plan for ourselves! I was so grateful for her and her continued support. So, Vanessa, I am UTTERLY floored by your personality, your support, your love for life, your beauty, and your love for building other people UP not down. You are incredible and I have now gained a beautiful friendship. Thank you.
